Alberto R. Gonzales served as Attorney General of the United States, the nation’s chief law enforcement officer from February 2005 to September 2007. He is currently a Visiting Professor at Texas Tech University teaching national security law, and Of Counsel in the Trial and Appellate group of the Nashville law firm Waller Lansden where he works on government relations and investigations, and white collar defense. On January 2, 2012, he will become the Doyle Rogers Distinguished Professor of Law at Belmont University College of Law where he will teach and write about constitutional and national security issues.

Judge Gonzales is the only lawyer in our nation’s history to serve as U.S. Attorney General and White House Counsel. He served as a Justice on the Supreme Court of Texas and was a partner at a major U.S. law firm. He uses these unique experiences to counsel clients and provide audiences a behind-the-scenes look at government power. Judge Gonzales is the first in his family to rise from poverty, obtain an education and achieve the American dream.

Judge Gonzales is a regular columnist for Fox News Latino.
